I'm Not Going To Give You Peanuts... (Homosexuality is a sin)

The decision made by SCOTUS to legalize gay marriage in all 50 states has garnered much attention from media everywhere.  People are changing profile pictures, to changing the lights on their houses to match this agenda's campaign.  People are on streets and phones, websites and doorsteps, proclaiming that this is peace, this is equality, this is LOVE.  When, while they do not yet know it, they are doing the most hateful act they could ever impose on someone.  They are encouraging these people, and as the quote goes "fluffing up their pillows" for their flight to hell.
In our society today, convenience is key.  That is why so many people have watered down Christianity, send their kids to public school, and practice sexual immorality, just to name a few.
Let me break that down for you...

People have a watered down Christianity because they want a ticket to heaven with no sacrifice.  If they have to lay down their life...die to self, they would just rather not.  It easy, it's safe, and you don't have to do anything except say a prayer to get there.

Most Mothers and Fathers send their kids to a public school so that they do not have to deal with the struggles of everyday life with their children or because that is just more convenient. They put all of their worries on someone else...trust others with education...sex Ed specifically speaking and don't have to be the one to initiate discipline or have to carry the burden of providing their children with a solid, biblical, education.

Saying just a prayer won't get you to heaven, just like sending your child to a facility won't make your kids want to serve the Lord, abstain from sex, or good people in general. It takes work, it takes energy, but in the long run it is completely and utterly satisfying!  I would love to stay on this topic, more in a later post, but this is not what  I am here to discuss.

I am here to state truth on the subject of sexual immorality.
In the light of all the buzz on social media, many internet "celebrities" have come out of the closet.  One of those being a woman by the name of Ingrid.  I listened to her story to gain insight about her justification for her sin. Surprisingly (or not) enough her reasoning was she couldn't deny her nature.
I could not agree more with that statement.

God created man blameless.  When Adam ate of the forbidden fruit, our whole world changed. It became fallen, we became dead in our sins. Nothing we could do ourselves would change it, our forefather Adam, sinned against the Holy God, and we, his offspring inherited it.
"Behold, I was brought forth in iniquity, And in sin my mother conceived me." (Psalms 51:5 NASB
We do not crave truth or righteousness, we flee from light and live in the bliss of our darkness as we drown in the pit of sinfulness.  Our highway to hell.

"Or do you not know that the unrighteous will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived; neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminate, nor homosexuals, nor thieves, nor the covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor swindlers, will inherit the kingdom of God." (1 Corinthians 6:9-10 NASB)
"For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God," (Romans 3:23 NASB)
"Therefore, just as through one man sin entered into the world, and death through sin, and so death spread to all men, because all sinned- "(Romans 5:12 NASB)
Homosexuality is a sin, and it will send you to hell.  Just like any of the other sins stated above.  It is just as serious as murder, and definitely just as lethal.
Society has warped our view of scripture to make people in their states of sin not just "socially acceptable", but celebrated!  When in biblical times these people were hanged for their mockery of God.  These people in these high places of authority are mocking God and we are giving them the right to offer sinners their peanuts during their journey.
I am not here to embrace sin, I am here to expose it.  These people are on their way to hell and we are called to preach the gospel.
There is a battle ahead of us, but beyond that battle is hope.  A hope of the future and a hope for the lost.  God is sovereign, and He will win the war.  We are his soldiers and we must stand up ready to fight and to be used for His glory.
"And Jesus came up and spoke to them, saying, "All authority has been given to Me in heaven and on earth. Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age." (Matthew 28:18-20 NASB)
True love isn't accepting sin, it's sharing with the sinner.  We must show true love to others and share the gospel.
So you see, Ingrid WAS correct in saying it was her nature.
Our nature IS sin.
You need God to change that nature.

If you are living in sin, please repent from it!  Turn from your sin.
Believe in Him.
And trust Him in all aspects of your life...

"Moreover, I will give you a new heart and put a new spirit within you; and I will remove the heart of stone from your flesh and give you a heart of flesh. I will put My Spirit within you and cause you to walk in My statutes, and you will be careful to observe My ordinances. "(Ezekiel 36:26-27 NASB)

In Christ,
