Women's March 2017

Seeing all of the news on social media about the women's march following Donald Trump's inauguration, I figured I would hop on here and share my piece...  I am not going to specify my views on our presidential election or if I supported Donald Trump's candidacy, etc. because I don't feel like getting into politics right now.  Surprise! #saveitforanotherday

But no matter how I feel, how you feel, or what anybody else in our country feels about him, sorry to break it to you, but he is our president. You can shout "He's not my president" all ya want.  Now, don't get me wrong.  I am so thankful to live in a country where we have the freedom of speech and the right to protest.  I am not suggesting that this end, but the "sticks and stones" have got to go.  America prides itself in the "peaceful transfer of power".  It is our job as Americans to pray for Trump, to encourage others to have hope, and to make a difference in our world for the better.  To put yourself out there, stand up for your beliefs and for what IS right...  Not women's rights. ;)

Yes, Women have rights, but we are not equal to men... Now don't take this the wrong way!  By no means am I telling you that you can be looked down upon, or be abused because you are a women...  Our lives are important, our faith is important, our thoughts are important, WE are important. But we are not a man, and in the same way a man is not a woman.  We are different, which is an amazingly, glorious thing that God has bestowed upon us!  Therefore, we are not equal to a man, just as a giraffe is not equal to a lion...
Not equal...unique.

You see, both have a purpose in this world, both have different ways of eating, surviving, living, etc. Both are beautiful creatures with dignity and honor, yet you will still find someone who's doesn't like a giraffe and thinks a lion is the king of the jungle.  Or you might find someone who loves baby giraffes and hate that mean lion always on the hunt.  Both, however, have a purpose and no one can diminish that purpose, they can just choose to simply overlook it.

Maybe someone may choose to overlook a women's purpose on this earth, simply because it is not the same as a man's, which it isn't, but our worth does not escape the Creator's eyes!  He knows the purpose of a woman...He designed us and knit each of our fibers with a specific purpose and meaning.  Such as how we all do not look the same as other human beings, women do not look the same as men.  How amazing is it to be unique?  Isn't it great?  And although some people may think that being different or unique is not beautiful, you have nothing to prove!  I do not feel the need to walk down a street holding a sign to make myself feel better or to feel like I am a part of the team, because I know my place in this world. I have worth, I am different than a man, and I feel like that should be celebrated.

And if you would like to read my post about abortion, which is also trying to be protected in this march, please click this link below!
*Hint* I will not stand around and watch people take away so many children rights while having them murdered under the noses of millions of americans nationwide....
I do not support women's rights when it implies the murder of so many children everyday...
